Artus is an open, diverse intellectual and creative workshop—a meeting place for people, ideas, and artistic disciplines.Artus represents Gábor Goda’s company, the creative workshop set up in a 2,000-square-meter abandoned factory building (Artus Studio), the collective of 30 artists working here, and the Association that provides the institutional background for it all.Founded in 1985,

Artus is an independent, contemporary, multi-disciplinary art company. Throughout our operations, we have created more than 100 performances, presenting them in 25 countries. From the very beginning, we have been organizing international projects, residency programs, and co-productions.

The Studio’s regular programs include performances by the Artus company, guest performances, visual art exhibitions, musical and other cultural events, as well as self-awareness and movement workshops.

The exhibition stems from a simple question: what is the color that surrounds us most? For me, the answer is blue. Blue is simultaneously tied to the world around us—the sky, our waters—and to an inner, elusive experience.
