Its lively, open exhibition space is bustling with activity throughout the day. The Kommunity Art Korner presents a new exhibition every month, introducing fresh atmospheres and new artists. Creators from a wide range of artistic disciplines are given the opportunity to exhibit, with both contemporary visual artists and practitioners from the creative industries showcasing their artistic projects. The programme often embraces themes that would be unlikely to find a place in commercial galleries, while placing a strong emphasis on promoting the work of women artists. Exhibiting artists are selected through direct invitations as well as through the annual Art Open open call.
Within a dedicated section of the venue is the ENA Korner, launched in collaboration with curator Péter Bencze. This illuminated, street-facing mini gallery is accessible 24/7 and primarily presents site-specific installations.
Open every day of the week, the venue functions simultaneously as a café, community space, art venue, and workspace. Kastner Kommunity is led with curiosity, passion, and a boundary-pushing spirit by Head of Art Korinna Tánczos, Junior Art Manager Virág Papp, and Project Manager Judit Járadi, powered by the internationally established creative agency Kastner. The initiative has received several recognitions, including the Social Impact Team award in 2025 and the European BESTIES Award in 2026.
