TOBE Gallery is dedicated to contemporary photography and photo-based art, serving as a dynamic platform for artistic dialogue and experimentation. Established in October 2013 in Budapest, the gallery was founded with the mission of creating meaningful opportunities for both Hungarian and Ibero-American artists whose practices demonstrate a strong commitment to innovation, critical thinking, and high-quality visual expression. Its program brings together recognized figures and emerging talents, fostering encounters between diverse generations, perspectives, and cultural contexts. Through carefully curated exhibitions, publications, and collaborations, TOBE Gallery supports the development of artists while engaging audiences in thoughtful reflection on contemporary image-making.
Since 2017, the gallery has steadily expanded its international presence by participating in respected art fairs, festivals, and professional platforms, strengthening cross-border connections and contributing to the global discourse around photography and lens-based media.
