During Budapest Artineris, I am opening my Budapest studio to visitors. The Open Studio presents finished and works-in-progress from my current painting series, including Status Intermedius, Vestigia Vitae and Structura Ex Machina.
My paintings often begin with my own photography, digitally constructed images, generated visual elements and experiments in image-making. A selection of these source images will also be on view, offering a glimpse into the process through which a mutable digital image is slowly transformed into a singular physical painting.
The Open Studio is informal and unguided: visitors are welcome to arrive, spend time with the works and the studio, and talk with me about the paintings, the process, or the relationship between digital and physical image-making.
Location: 6 Margaréta Street, 4th floor / attic, 1124 Budapest.
